SULFATREAT* SELECT ULTRA is a high-capacity, fast-reacting mixed-metal-oxide absorbent with enhanced macro-porosity for improved activity. This allows for smaller vessels and smaller product volumes in a given process application, providing flexibility in system design. SULFATREAT SELECT ULTRA is suitable for the removal of hydrogen sulfide, low-molecular-weight mercaptans and disulfides from gaseous hydrocarbons at low temperature. Desulfurization is achieved by reaction with mixed-metal oxides forming a stable metal sulfide.
